Alternate Departmental Logos

In the event that you have space or color restrictions, alternate versions of the primary logo are allowable. Listed below are the only acceptable alternate versions when producing any print, online, or other correspondence materials.

For logo use best practices, refer to Appropriate Logo Use. Please direct any requests for high resolution or alternate formats of the logo not available on this site to: parksandrecreation@phila.gov.

Single Color Logo

In the rare instance when you are able to use only one color for the logo, Pantone 653 should be used without yellow color. This logo should appear against a white background.

Black Logo

If you are unable to print in two-color blue & yellow or a single color (blue), this all-black version of the logo is acceptable. The logo should be black against a white background.

Please note that this logo is the crispest and most clear option for documents that will be printed most frequently in black and white.

Reverse Logo

The legibility of the logo is of paramount importance. To ensure the best legibility, use the reverse logo on any dark background. In addition, the reverse logo may be used on a textured or medium-colored background if it appears more legible than the original non-reverse logo.

All Gold Logo

When used on a solid blue background (preferably PPR Blue/Pantone 653), this version of the logo may be used. This version of the logo will be used primarily on Apparel & Merchandise.

“Find Your Path” with Monogram

The primary logo uses the "FIND YOUR PATH" logomark and "Philadelphia Parks & Recreation" logotype together; however, there are instances when the “Find Your Path” with Monogram logo may be used as a graphic or illustrative element to extend departmental identity. You might see this on the front of a baseball cap or back of a t-shirt. In addition, the monogram logo will accompany individual program and site names.

Please note that the "Find Your Path" with Monogram design should never accompany the "Philadelphia Parks & Recreation" logotype. Please use the Primary Departmental Logo if you want the full department name to accompany the logomark.

PPR Monogram

The primary logo uses the "FIND YOUR PATH" logomark and "Philadelphia Parks & Recreation" logotype together; however, there are instances when the PPR Monogram logo may be used as a graphic or illustrative element to extend departmental identity. You might see this on signage or as a badge on the sleeve of a shirt.

Please note that the "Find Your Path" with Monogram design should never accompany the "Philadelphia Parks & Recreation" logotype. Please use the Primary Departmental Logo if you want the full department name to accompany the logomark.
